The Opportunity

IPSF is seeking an experienced Development Associate to support fundraising initiatives and help advance the organization’s mission. Working closely with the Director of Development and Development Coordinator, this role contributes to annual appeals and events, grant research and management, donor cultivation, community outreach, sponsorship fulfillment, online giving, donor data, and fundraising analysis.

What You’ll Do:

·         Support the planning and execution of annual appeals, seasonal appeals, special events, and third-party fundraising activities.
·         Research foundation and corporate funding opportunities and manage the grant application process, including writing, submissions,                tracking, and deadlines.
·         Support donor cultivation and fundraising initiatives while building positive relationships with donors, Board members, corporations,                and community partners.
·         Coordinate in-kind donations and sponsor and giving circle recognition and benefit fulfillment.
·         Help manage online giving platforms, event websites, donation forms, donor data, reporting, and analysis to support fundraising                        strategy.

What We’re Looking For:

·         Working knowledge of fundraising functions and the ability to work proactively and independently while managing multiple priorities                and deadlines.
·         Excellent written and verbal communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
·         Experience with data management and reporting; experience with Bloomerang or similar fundraising software preferred.
·         Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
·         Bachelor’s degree preferred; four or more years of experience in nonprofit development, community outreach, and data management                strongly preferred; grant writing experience preferred.

Position Details:

Full-time, exempt | Salary range: $73,500–$76,500, depending on qualifications and experience | Irvine, CA. IPSF currently operates on a hybrid schedule with two in-office collaboration days and three remote workdays. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required with advance notice.
